PLEASE NOTE: Do not get shampoo in your eyes. These shampoo bars have not been tested on helpless animals. I tested them on my own eyes. If you get this shampoo in your eyes, it will sting, and you will need to get it back out of your eyes right away.
It takes commitment to switch from liquid shampoo to shampoo bars. It took me six months to completely switch. My scalp is much healthier now, but I am still using conditioner. The biggest obstacles are: you can't just squirt a handful of goo into your palm and spread it on your hair. You have to lather up a bar, and then transfer the lather to your hair. If you're impatient you can rub the bar directly on your hair, but that's hard on your hair. And, while wet, your hair doesn't feel slick, as it does with synthetic detergents. However, if you stick with it, you may notice that your scalp doesn't itch - for the first time in years.
